Triona Campbell graduated from Trinity College with a BA in Drama Studies and Classics. Her dream was to become a director but this changed while she was studying and in 2008 Triona set up beActive Media in 2008. She is now Writer / Producer and three time Emmy nominated producer of numerous Transmedia, Film and TV projects and a director in the business.
This is a business that is known for making waves in the multi platform world. In 2012 they launched the world’s first ever scripted series on Pinterest, which was part of the transmedia project Beatgirl that also included a TV series and feature film. Other notable achievements include last year’s nomination for an International Digital Emmy Award for their transmedia series COLLIDER.
Triona participated in 2009’s EY Entrepreneur of the Year award and was listed as one of the candidates for the Enterprise Ireland Women Mean Business Entrepreneur Award in 2012.
